- Do not receive fillers (3 weeks) or other cosmetic injections (2 weeks)
- Avoid resurfacing treatments such as laser, microneedling, and peels for 2 weeks
- If having treatment with the Pore Purifying Pro-Infusion Serum, discontinue topical salicylates for 2 weeks (i.e., salicylic acid/BHA, topical analgesics)
- Avoid waxing, sugaring, or aggressive exfoliation
- Stop using retinoids, acne treatments, or chemical exfoliants (e.g., AHA/BHA)
- Avoid shaving the treatment area
- Plan to arrive with clean skin free of makeup
- Complete forms and get cleared for treatment as early as possible
- Speak to your PCP about prophylactic treatment if you have history of cold sores
- Avoid using retinoids, acne treatments, or chemical exfoliants (AHA/BHA)
- Do not receive cosmetic injections
