Laser hair removal delivers long-term, permanent hair reduction rather than total elimination. Most clients achieve significant reduction after a minimum of 8 sessions, although some treatment areas may need upward of 12. With annual touch-ups, results hold up well over time. Your provider will set expectations clearly at your first session.
Most clients need at least 8 sessions to see significant hair reduction. More resistant areas may need upward of 12. For your first four sessions, plan for an appointment every four weeks, since hair grows in cycles and consistent timing helps you get the most out of each treatment. After your initial series, most clients only need annual touch-ups to maintain results.
Laser hair removal at Sev Skin starts at $15 per month with a membership, with single sessions starting at $29. Exact pricing depends on the treatment area and location. Our 18-Month Memberships offer the best value per session and make it easier to complete a full series.
First-time clients can receive their first treatment free with code HELLOSMOOTH at checkout. Valid on select treatment areas; terms apply. Visit our pricing page for full details by location.
Most clients describe it as a mild sting. Sev Skin uses the Zimmer Cryo 6, which delivers cold air with each laser pulse to ease discomfort throughout the session. Most clients find it very manageable, and the sensation gets easier as treatments progress and hair becomes finer.
Laser hair removal works for most adults with unwanted, pigmented hair across all genders and skin tones. Before your first appointment, Sev Skin runs a brief medical clearance call to confirm eligibility.
A few things may affect candidacy: pregnancy, breastfeeding, active skin damage in the treatment area, or certain health conditions and medications.
